Adams Transit, Inc is located in Friesland, Wisconsin. Founded in 1973, in response to the shipping needs of the parent warehousing company Cupery & DeYoung Storage Corporation. The shipping company is an intra and interstate common and contract carrier of dry goods.

The success of the company has been the selection of leading edge equipment. Meeting the guidelines of the federal government 55-foot length limit proved to be one of the company’s creative solutions. The company used a 48-foot box set over Cab Over Engine tractor.  This allowed 25 % more hauling capacity.  Pictured below is the what the truck and trailer looked like

At the largest, Adams Transit had 60 tractors and 110 trailers.
