Magazines, Journals and other information Provides access to over 4,000 titles, approximately 2,000 in full-text, and other reference materials. After going to this page, select "Magazines".  On the EBSCO page select either "EBSCOhost Web" or "Searchasaurus". This service is available to State of Wisconsin residents. The state library division has contracted for this service with EBSCO Industries, Inc. (A titles list is available.)  To access Ebsco from home you must go through the SCLS portal at http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/cgi-bin/pbauth.cgi and enter your library card number.

Newspapers   Provides access to 41 newspapers, most in full-text. Click on the "Newspapers" button on the Badgerlink page.  This service is available to State of Wisconsin residents. The state library division has contracted for this service with the UMI company. (A titles list is available.)  To access this database from home you must go through the SCLS portal at http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/cgi-bin/pbauth.cgi and enter your library card number.

South Central Library System Catalog on the web.  Click on "Connect to LINKcat Web".  The Link catalog includes materials from Jane Morgan Library in Cambria, Portage Public Library and Madison Public Library among many others.  With a library card from any of the participating libraries, you can place a hold on library materials, and have them delivered to your nearby participating local library.  From this same portal you can click on "Databases: Magazines, Newspapers, Literature & More" to gain access to several databases.  You will need to enter your library card number to get into most of these databases.

  Teaching Books   TeachingBooks.net provides original, in-studio movies of authors and illustrators and a wealth of multimedia resources on K-12 books that generate enthusiasm for books and reading.
