Cambria­Friesland School District Child Care

Cambria­Friesland School District’s Child Enhancement Center opens September 1st. Center will be open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Enrollment begins July 1st for fall enrollment. Are you a high school student looking for employment before or after school???? 

The Cambria-Friesland School District Child Enhancement Center is accepting applications from students who wish to work in the newly created child care center.  Center opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m.  Please call 920-348-5548, ext. 278 for more information and to receive an application. 

Seeking Donations

Cambria­Friesland School District’s Child Enhancement Center is seeking donations of new or gently used child care items. Items such as, but not limited to: cribs, pack n plays, crib sheets, blankets, high chairs, booster seats, child size sleeping bags/mats, infant seats and swings, bean bags, toys, games, books, bibs, burp cloths, diaper wipes, disposable diapers, plates, bowls, cups and sippy cups, forks, knives, spoons, basic kitchen utensils. Monetary donations or gift cards to purchase items are also welcome. If you wish to make a donation please contact Chelsie Stocker at 920­348­5135, ext. 212 or Lisa Osterhoff at 920­348­5548, ext. 278.

Bread Basket Community Food Pantry

The Bread Basket Community Food Pantry is available to residents of Cambria and the close vicinity who may need food on an emergency basis, by appointment only.

The pantry is located in the basement of the Presbyterian Church.  The entrance is on Towyn Street.

OPEN: 1st Monday of the month, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
2nd, 3rd, 4th Tuesdays of the month, 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Free Medical Clinic - Portage, WI

When: 9 a.m. to noon every Wednesday.
Where: the lower level of Wilz Drug and Home Health Care, 140 E. Cook St.
Who can get free clinic services: Anybody. No appointment or insurance necessary, and Columbia County residency is not required.

The Cambria-Friesland School District is located 40 miles north of Madison, 25 miles east of Portage and 19 miles west of Beaver Dam.  The school district community includes the villages of Cambria and Friesland and six townships.  The Cambria-Friesland School District enrolls about 420 students in one building.
